Enrollment for the 2026-27 School Year:

* School Choice Application Window: Jan. 5-31, 2026 *

2026 Louisa Boren STEM Tours and Open House:

Elementary (k-5) – Tuesdays January 6 & January 20 @ 9 am

Middle School – Tuesdays January 13 & January 27 @ 9 am

Open House – January 8. Elementary @ 5:15 pm & Middle School @ 6 pm.

The SPS Enrollment team is hosting 5 in-person community information sessions to help answer questions about:

• • The enrollment process
  • The new School Choice lottery timeline
  • Understanding school choice options and eligibility

• Announced details for ’26 SPS Enrollment process:
  • The School Choice application form will be available through the Source. 
  • Families of current SPS students can access the form starting Monday, Jan. 5
  • Newly enrolled SPS students interested in a choice school can request to attend a school that is not their attendance area school through the online enrollment application. These opt-in choices will be processed manually once the enrollment process is complete. (All enrolled students receive an automatic assignment to their attendance area school or linked attendance area school).
  • No late school choice applications will be accepted after March 31, 2026
  • Results will be available in the Source the week of Feb. 24 and placement letters are scheduled for the week of March 2  
  • If there are more student applications than seats available at a school, a waitlist will be created. All waitlists will be active through May 31, 2026, then dissolved
